About

Born in Michigan, I came of age in Miami. From a young age, my parents encouraged me to cultivate my deepest creative interests.

I am a passionate writer and director, and filmmaking, for me, is a singular way to synthesize my experiences and observations to create something beautiful and true. And as the Executive Director of the non-profit Filmshop, I relish championing a dynamic community of filmmakers.

I have directed numerous short films, encompassing both scripted and documentary, most recently “How to Pack Up Your Life in One Day.”

I’m in development on a feature film set in Miami, “Carla from 3 to 5” and a feature film about a party clown called “The Joy Project.”

I live in NYC and Miami with my partner and our pampered Frenchie.
